Description

The name of this beautiful succulent plant comes from the Greek ‘γεωμετρία’ which means ‘geometry’, in fact its bluish-green stem has a ball shape and with the passage of time creates spherical branches. With prolonged exposure to the sun or cool autumn can take a purple color. From the upper areoles arise sparse and short spines ranging in color from white to black, curved downward. When it blooms it produces beautiful white to light pink flowers with a darker central stripe. You have to be very careful when moving or transferring the plant, because its parts come off easily. This particular cactus is perfect for decorating your designer pots. Now available at Lush Nursery Sialkot for sales.

It likes an exposure to full sun in rather airy locations.

It is preferable to keep it at mild temperatures and never below 5 °C, for this reason it is recommended to shelter it during the winter period.

Water moderately, only when the soil is completely dry. It is enough to water the plant once a week in spring and summer, once a month in autumn and to suspend watering completely in winter.

The best option is a well-draining and porous soil, even better if further enriched with 50% of inert materials such as pumice or lapilli.

They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
